A great New England flight.

Thanks, John! Great vid, I really enjoyed following along with your flight. My one quibble is at the end - you have the freeware Orbx airports installed, and their version of 2B2 is conflicting with ours. Could be that the insertion point in your FTX Central is putting the freeware pack above the Hundred Dollar Burger airports. If you move it down below them, I think you'll like your HDB 2B2 much more. :)

Thanks for doing the video, though. Love that A2A Commanche!

Aaah that's why there were some anomalies in the field next to the airport! OK.

All my installs are default paths as set by the installers. Changing the order will only lead to problems when new scenery is installed as generally the order will revert to the installation priorities. Might be easiest if I just remove any 2B2 files from the ORBX folder and it seems there are only two to delete.

Since a majority of your customers will probably have ORBX scenery including the freeware airports, would an advisory be in order?

Cheers

I'll redo the video, as it should be properly presented! Watch this space.

Actually, FTX Central is set up nicely to deal with issues like these. If you use the built in insertion point tool, you can tell it to always move the Orbx entries below "x" scenery in the library order. Since New sceneries get put on top of the list as they're installed, this would be a one time set it and forget it operation. Easier than deleting individual files, for sure.

Thanks Bill good to know.

Here's the new version. I hope everything is as it should be now.

Better, John, but there's still a big conflict at 2B2. The Orbx freeware people and buildings are co-existing with our custom versions, causing some weird looks. I've attached a couple shots of what 2B2 should look like when there are no conflicts. Let me load my Orbx freeware airports and see if I get the same thing. I thought they were loaded, but I didn't have the Orbx libraries, so nothing is showing yet.

OK I'll have another look! And I just discovered I had the wrong FTXC3 choice for scenery insertion point, so I've hopefully fixed that now too.
