And the only cure for Railing Fever is…

More textures!

I’m enjoying this project. Can you tell?

Excellent. Hope you don’t mind a newbie question. How do you cater for the need to have the roof a different colour in winter (ie white with snow) and in the summer (ie whatever colour the tiles are)? Does that have to be part of the texturing of each building, or is the snow a separate layer which is applied ‘globally’?

Mark, I haven’t decided whether to simulate snow-covered roofs for this particular airport. Nantucket does get snow, but it’s not an all winter long affair like on the mainland. If I were to do it, I’d make a separate snow-covered model and have my third-party module swap the default building out for it during the winter months. There’s no FSX-native way of conditionally displaying a model per season.

    Thanks for the insight Bill.
