This cat is built for speed.
If you pre-paid, then you probably know by now that Orbx has released their first aircraft add-on, the Lancair IV-P. This is a stunning bird with sleek lines that are beautifully rendered and textured. Also, it goes like stink – like 200KIAS plus. What better way to celebrate a craft with that combo of grace and pace (sorry, there’s not a lot of space) than to dress it up in Jaguar gold and green? I just posted a Jaguar Edition repaint over on the Freeware section of this site in both HD and SD formats. Get the Lancair and load these paints. They will make you happy.

As soon as I grab this plane, I will get this repaint. Very nice job Bill. 200 KIAS. Won’t need to use the time acceleration feature with this plane I guess. And here I thought my Bonanza F33 was fast.
Charles.
Yep, the Lancair blows the doors off the Bonanza.
… But it hasn’t the classic looks of the Beech Bonanza..
No, it’s definitely more slippery, and that includes looks as well. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Bonanza. I’ve seen a lot of them fading away on my six since I started flying the Lancair.
I have it for 2 days and it’s already my favourite GA plane. Everything is just awesome! Flight dynamics, VC, … and of course speed. And I’m more of a 767 kinda guy.
