Nantucket and P3DV4

Post by bandsma » Sun Sep 03, 2017 10:10 pm

Sorry to bring this up but I'm waiting to buy Nantucket when the P3DV4 update is available. Where should I be monitoring for the announcement? Blog, Twitter, forum, etc.?

Will be announcing it here on the forum, in a blog post, and on Facebook and Twitter.

Bill - when you brought out Nantucket I was like an old dog with the juiciest bone it had ever had. It's been a regular base of mine since FS9.

I went to P3Dv4 and now my lovely bone is on the top shelf where I can see it, but can't have it. I'm in mourning.

Question:- I'm an old fart who doesn't have twitter or facebook. Should I be checking back here daily, weekly or monthly? I'm beginning to pant.

Hi Graham,

No need for hyperventilating! We had the P3D4 version basically ready to go weeks ago, but I was waiting for a contractor to deliver some animated people that I wanted to include. Since they don't seem to be able to come through, I've decided to go ahead with the release once I'm back from the UK. An email will go out to all current users once it's ready - and of course I'll put up a forum post as well.

Thanks,

Hello,

I've got my "KACK" from FS PILOT SHOP!
Can you tell me if they are already up to date for V4 ?

BugDani.

For those who bought through third-party vendors instead of from this site, your copy of 1.02 will be online as soon as the store you bought it from makes it available. They have been notified of the new update, but we can't control how long they take to post it.

thanks,

Bill, I know you already answered the question. Third party vendors release on their own schedules.

I'm curious for anyone out there. I bought mine on SimMarket. Has anyone else seen any indication from them that they've released the update? I go to my purchases and download history over there and only seem to get routed to version 1.01. I know, sometimes, places will put up the new file under the old link -- which is always clear and intuitive.

Anyone successfully get the update off of SimMarket yet?

Thanks in advance.

I got an email from Just Flight this afternoon that there has been a hold up with getting the update out to the third party vendors. It should be heading to them today or early next week. How long it takes for them to post it after that is anyone's guess, but hopefully they'll get to it quickly.
